Today is the big day! No not the wedding. I pick up my hog! Lol let me say up front that Marion and the people at Orange County HD are top shelf. Not only did they baby sit my Dyna but they cleaned her better than I have in a while. Thank you! Zach and Diane’s wedding was a blast and the location was awesome. It was right on the coast in Malibu California about a mile above and 200 yards from the Pacific.
The interesting thing about this marriage is the fact that Zach and I were always pretty tight we went to Berner HS in Massapequa together and when I drove the WBAB Rock van we hung out the entire summer of 82. That summer we did a gig at the now defunct Islip Speedway and that’s where Zach and Diane met. And as it so often happens we saw less and less of each other and they have been together since. Zach and Diane now live in Huntington Beach and the wedding is in Malibu. 90 minutes away. The ceremony and reception lasted 8 hours plus! After breaking down the equipment and the 90 minute run back I was spent. I ended the day at about 2am with me dropping my bike in the driveway of his house. No not drunk just extremely exhausted and off balance. So I went to bed tired and pissed. Good thing I am planning on changing the exhaust anyway.
