Sunday, June 24, 2007- Long Island Cares,Inc., The Harry Chapin Food Bank, will host their First Annual Motorcycle Run to End Hunger. The Run will be sponsored by American Custom Choppers and presented by Full Throttle Magazine. The Ride will begin at American Custom Choppers in Shirley, New York and end at Long Island Cares in Hauppauge, New York. Kick Stands up at 11am sharp. The Event is in support of Long Island Cares, who since 1980 has provided Emergency Food assistance and Community Outreach Programs to Long Island neighbors in need, including children, seniors, single mothers and at-risk individuals. Cost per Rider is $10, $5 for Passengers , along with a donation of non-perishable food.
