What a great weekend, the weather, the events, the runs, a homerun all around. We started off with the Harley-Davidson of New York City open house filled with food, fun and some good rockin supplied by the Steve Marshall Band. We met Claudia Glenn Barasch who along with her partner Michelle Dell co-starred in "Motorcycle Women" on Discovery and put together the “Lady Liberty Ride” a great run that you can attend next Sunday for more info go here. Thanks to Dave and the NYC-HD crew for another good time. I love the ride to the city sure the traffic sucks but there is a visceral thrill to riding in the city. So we rode over to Gasoline Ally in Brooklyn for the Indian Larry Grease Monkey block party. We ran into everyone Greg and Phil from Full Throttle, Archie from Kick Start Fabrications and Towing, some of the guys from the local 81 and some guys from Motorcycle Enhancements in Canada who built an AMAZING tribute bike to Larry. Pic’s in Gallery the Two Wheel TV crew was on hand and asked me to do some stuff on camera for them to which I humbly obliged. I don’t know if they will use it but thanks for asking fellas. You can catch their show on TV 55 on Saturdays at noon. Well is was time to fight our way back to LI and try and make the Lighthouse Harley shindig but alas by the time we got there it was over. Oh well next time. Sunday was another great riding day with a gig at Long Island Picture Frame and Art Gallery in Massapequa Park and a bunch of runs there were bikes all over all day.
