When I decided to pursue this "I'm gonna make a TV show about the passion of riding motorcycles" train of thought I never expected it to be filled with so many cool incidents. Meaning whether the show makes it (and it will) or not this has been a great romp. When Criss Angel agreed to be...
interviewed for Short Scoots I thought it was a home run but it turned out to be a grand slam! When Vince Neil rolled up in his flamed out Hummer, it felt almost surreal. Following close behind was a flatbed. What are the odds that Vince would be picking up a customized flamed out golf cart on the day I would be there. I guess in Vegas they were pretty good. He had a business meeting to attend and so was in a bit of a rush so we respected his privacy and turned off the cameras while we hung out and caught up. I invited him on for a future episode so we will see. One of my biggest challenges in producing this show is staying focused because I wear so many hats. I needed to finish this shoot and trying to figure out how to weasel in this one and that one was eating too much time. Criss has to do a photo shoot with his new Viper (remember the one he won off the Dodge dealer on Mindfreak) for a magazine so we need to finish this thing. I took his blacked out Road King and he jumped on his Count Kustom "Mindfreak" chopper and we wrapped the shoot. While Criss did his photo shoot the crew packed up and an hour later we were done and I was on the phone with the Count. I told Criss it would be cool if I could shoot the Counts shop and maybe interview him so he hooked us up before he left. The Count was really into the idea of us shooting the shop and doing an interview but had a business meeting and would not be available until after 5pm it was now 2pm and my camera crew was leaving so I said I would shoot the shop and we could catch up some other time. He asked me where I was staying "the Flamingo" I said. "Wow" he said "That is where my meeting is!" We laughed and exchanged numbers and agreed to catch up later in the day after 5. To be continued.
