As the days of summer roll by it never ceases to amaze me how fast time goes by and yet people will

squander it without a thought. I have heard "its too hot to ride" or "its to cold to ride" "I don't have time to ride"...I have noticed that some of these same people work their ass's off at in many cases more than one job. Living on Long Island and anywhere else in America can be challenging. We want the best for our family. We want to give our kids what we didn't have. With rising costs of everything the challenge can become daunting and overwhelming. No matter what we do there is some kind of stress attached to it.  The pressure takes us out of ourselves at times and we become irritable and irrational as we close down our walls and just focus on the job the money the bills the kids the spouse and we loose site of ourselves. The wheels of life keep on turning as the bike sits in the garage. This is unfair and can cause resentment.
By now you are wondering where I am going with all this but my guess is some of you know. We deserve to have our own time I believe as human beings it is essential. So don't make frustrated excuses about your time. If it's cold put on the gear, if it’s hot get protection that breathes and make or better yet take the time to ride. Even 50 miles, one hour will let you blow out the cobwebs. It is truly a challenge to balance work, family and all that comes with them and still find our own time for a scoot. But you deserve it so go on take a short scoot and refresh yourself. Then spend some quality time with the family. All the rest of the stuff will be there when you’re done.
Who knows how long we will be blessed with life enjoy it while you can.
