One of the key components of Short Scoots television is StarBikes and the segment we just shot with Criss Angel in Vegas was a blast. Criss is one of the most humble unassuming professional and all around nice guys I have the pleasure of knowing.
A native Long Islander our paths first crossed in the mid 80’s when I had him on Fingers Metal Shop to play his new music and set up a live show in a warehouse in Deer Park. His magical musical onslaught although primitive compared to his current standards was very impressive and I knew then he was destined for greatness. His popular show "Mindfreak" on A&E Wednesday nights is spectacular and the music kicks ass. The music is his and he has recorded a new album that includes the music from the show. Criss has some heavy hitter’s guest star on the record and video. Names like Sully from Godsmack, Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme and his current project Dramagods (also great) Jonathan Davis from Korn Vince Neil from Motley Crue and producer Andy Johns whose credits include Led Zeppelin and Van Halen. It should be out on Koch records in September.
