One of the great things about motorcycling is the people. Whether they ride or not people are drawn in by the machines themselves. It could be a rolling masterpiece or a bucket of bolts leaking oil there is a special feeling that you get when...
you walk out of the store and a group of passersby are ooing and ahhing over your bike. Questions abound “What kind is it?” Where are you going?” “How fast does it go?” “How much was it?” but you can always tell the seasoned rider. No questions they just smile and nod and maybe acknowledge how great a day it is to ride. There is a fellowship among riders that transcends all boundaries. We are all there for each other if needed. Case in point I was in Vegas wrapping up a shoot with the “Count” of Counts Kustoms when I mention I am gonna rent a bike one day to cruise the area and in two seconds he is on the cell hooking me up with a guy who knows a gal who works a Las Vegas Harley-Davidson and the next thing I know Ladyfingers and I are cruising the strip on a brand new Street Glide at a phenomenal rate. Thanks Count and Davey and Sam. The desert is beautiful where it meets the mountains. I wish I could ride in Vegas more often, maybe when the show takes off. Check the calendar for runs this weekend and coming weeks. In the wind, Fingers Zach, The Count, Fingers, Chris |
