I invite you to take a few minutes and become a member so that you may participate on a deeper level and therefore enrich the experience for all members. After a "test ride" hopefully you will return to become a member when you have a few minutes.  As you can tell, Short Scoots is all about the road.  Without the bike its just a road; with out a rider its just a machine. The union between the rider and the road is down right spiritual. By owning a bike, you automatically take on an adjustment in lifestyle. And man it is fun. Those who ride know what I am talking about, and those who don't, I hope someday will.

Become a member I welcome you as a brother or sister to this community and look forward to your input. However, should you decide not to join I hope you cruise the site from time to time and enjoy the public content. Short Scoots USA (television for the passion of riding) is about good riding, good food, good music and the bikes we ride. Designed to entertain and inform. Each of these elements are interactive in the sense that you can contribute your own suggestions for each element. Do you have a favorite route you take your bike? All of this and your own calendar/message  center on a site totally dedicated to motorcycles and the passionate freedom we get from riding them.

Let me say that it has been my dream to create this world for some time. It is my hope that you will be able to come to this site put in a zip code and find a great scoot, good food and music and some new friends. In The Wind, Fingers

The creation of the world of "Short Scoots" is the brain child of a guy known as Fingers aka Keith Steele. He is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a driven individual who chases his dreams. He lives in New York on Long Island with his wife Ladyfingers and our two children. His passion for motorcycling dates back to high school screwing around on his friends Honda 90. Currently he rides a 2001 Harley-Davidson FXDWG. He supports a lot of charity runs and hosts his own Coldfinger Run (for children with cancer) every New Year’s day. He has ridden across the United States and up and down the east coast. Check the Gallery for pictures and video. He has spent a good portion of his life working in the entertainment industry in a variety of capacities. Promotions, roadie, light tech, sound man, club DJ, Radio DJ (a childhood dream), band and club management, booking, radio sales, and a variety of other creative endeavors most notably "Fingers Metal Shop" (FMS) and his current afternoon drive shift. He can be heard Monday through Friday between 2p and 7p eastern time on 102.3 WBAB-FM and wbab.com. FMS is a hard rocking heavy metal radio show produced by Fingers from 10/23/83 till 12/18/04. Now it, as he puts it "lies dormant'. After twenty-one years it was time for a new challenge, time to chase another dream. Television! Over the years Fingers has appeared on a variety of television shows from closed circuit, to cable and network. Whether it was a college show, ABC news/magazine shows, or MTV Fingers was always himself. He's not an actor he's Fingers. His passion for his wife, children and community, love of music coupled with his sense of humor, insight and work ethic have made him a staple on WBAB radio for almost twenty five years. Now all that energy and passion is being directly focused on Short Scoots world of motorcycles, music, food and community. If I know anything I know you can trust Fingers to give 110% towards making this project a trusted and valuable source of entertainment and information.
