A company designed to facilitate safe and successful motorcycle runs to assist those in need.

When someone is critically injured or killed the affects ripple through the family into the community. Americans always band together to help in anyway they can. It is times and events like these that can pull communities together. However, people are often at a loss for what to do.

One popular quest by many is to “put together” a bike run. As simple a task it may seem to be on the surface it is not. Anyone can say “Hey lets meet in XYZ parking lot and ride to ABC place and charge a fee." While raising a couple hundred bucks in the process is admirable, the risks for injury, liability and waste are high.

The attraction to a “bike run” is varied. We ride because we are passionate about riding. We enjoy the chance to commiserate with others. The feeling we get riding a bike is amplified by riding in a group with a common cause and the warm feeling we get from helping those in need is down right spiritual icing on the virtual cake.

We pose a question: "Why wouldn’t a motorcyclist attend a run outside of a conflicting schedule of course?" There are several reasons, but the most important ones are:Image

  1. Because they didn't know there was a run.
  2. They never heard about it.
  3. The run was deemed unsafe.
  4. No one knows where the money goes or how much is raised.

It is true some just don't like crowds however, the 2005 WBAB Coldfinger Run showed this to be a non-issue. When over 4000 motorcyclists get together for a cause it becomes a must attend event for everyone. Is every run going to do these numbers? Certainly not. But every run should be safe and when a run safely executed, then no matter how much it raises, it is successful.

There is an extreme amount of communication and planning that goes into making a successful and profitable run. With SAFERUNS FUNDS you make one phone call. We do the rest. From registration to donation we have you covered. We do it all, from Public affairs, media, insurance and police escorts.
